Artist's Comments

Here is another favorite werewolf character, but this one is from the Patricia Briggs novels mentioned in the Mercy Thompson stories and in an off-shoot in the Alpha and Omega series.

The harder part for me is that there are three similar characters that I have read...Charles Cornick created by Patricia Briggs, Will Cadotte in Blue Moon by Lori Handeland, and Jacob Black from the Stephenie Meyer Twilight series...ALL are Native American, ALL larger than life Red and Black wolves, ALL muscular built...don't get me wrong, they are some of my favorite characters, but some of the similarities are difficult to pass up.

I don't like how this one looks more cartooney and WILL be doing another one soon, maybe in the same style as the Twilight ideas, but with some more colors added.

I think Charles is alot different then Jacob. Jacob seems really hard headed and I see him having a more boyish, imp like face and Charles having a very serious stir face. :3 Thats just me.

I love this. You stuff is very different. <3 I think he looks alot like a Maned Wolf here with the red body and the black legs.(I think Maned Wolves are awesome)

I did base him off a maned wolf, the long legs, the red and black fur, but I do want to try again, I am not sure I nailed it the way I had hoped to, but thank you for the comment. I too think that Jacob is young and fresh, as opposed to Charles' aged and wise-style. But physically, the descriptions are similar.

Thank you for your comments, I do plan to try again though, I wasn't quite as satisfied...you know, "I'm my own worst critic." Thanks for your comment though!

 WHY!? It's amazing and unique as it is! I'm sorry I can't describe it to persuade you to keep it as it is, but it really fits the image of Charles and I  it!:cuddle: And you're very welcome!

Thank you anyway! I will keep it posted, but will make an improved version...later, once I finish the others. I think it's because he looks cross eyed and a little too tall in height and too short in length... unproportionate things bother me --- I'm a Libra, I like things to be "balanced"...LOL!

...well I like it!:glomp: It's amazing even if you do 'fix' it later!:cuddle: Great job, buddy!:salute:
And I'm a pisces! :boogie: I just wanted to tell you for some weird reason!!^^; And unproportionate things bother me too, but the problem is that almost everything I draw is unproportional! Haha:XD:
