Thank you! It's taken a great many years of practice to get to the level I am at now, but it was ALL worth it...and now I am able to transfer a lot of those skills to technical ink! Thank you for your comments!
Thank you very much, I worked on this one for about 3-4 days. It took lots of patience to develop it into what it became. Had a scary moment when I started with one of the colors, thought I had just ruined EVERY ounce of what I had done...but ultimately it was what made the piece...phew!
Wow...that is awesome! I love the stylized feel to it, and the way you blended all the colors...plus it sort of reminds me of one of my favorite artists, Franz Marc (at least that's what I imediately thought of...I make strange connections though).
You have just earned yourself an O.D.D.(oibyrd's daily devs) feature ! congrats!
ODDS (oibyrd's daily deviations) are to honor the sometimes overlooked artists of dA that I personally think deserve some exposure and also, to introduce the more popular artists to the new/overlooked deviants. I prefer to showcase ALL artwork that I love (and that includes popular artists with a fair amount of traffic to their work) in order to create a non-biased feature of the talent on dA. *PLZ DO KEEP IN MIND - some of the features are quite popular and obviously don't need extra help - however - I enjoy posting them because they inspire other artists. Please click the link below to see your work featured and to view other featured artists . If you prefer not to be a featured artist, just send me a note and I will remove you from the list. Cheers! I was once told by someone that if this is how it turned out, perhaps the tail wasn't meant to be finished...it still erks me, but I prefer to look at it as a unicorn being formed by a rainbow, and the tail is just the last part going to be made....I think it is as done as it is gonna get, but yes, the tail lends an "unfinished" air to it.
