LeoQuine Unique-Equine entry..

My contest entry for the contest. I hope they accept it. I call it a LeoQuine, half horse, half Saber-toothed Lion-Cat.

Bio:
They are carnivorous, live in prides much like African Lions, and are VERY social. They stand equvalent to 14hh. Males have LONG manes, that occasionally drag on the ground, and can be any "horse-like" color, appaloosa, buckskin, roan, bay, sorrel...you name it and they are it. Mares only have a short mane that runs along their necks and back, and they have VERY long bangs. They have feline eyes which can be green, yellow, blue, fire red and brown. Very wide ears, more equinelike, but tufted and furry inside. The mares can have up to two litters a year of 3-5 cubs at a time. If a rival Stallion takes over the pride, unlike with lions, they do not kill the young, but they do chase away any possible competition, then keep the females all to themselves. Occasionally there can be multiple Stallions, but usually only if they are related. They also live in any available area, but try to stick to the plains where prey is plentiful.
