Here is one excellent picture of Sapphirro taken 06/01/08. I just braided his mane up, which at its longest points are about 28-30 inches long! I have been doing my best to get it to grow out nicely, but he tends to itch it alot and break it off at the roots--no matter how loosely I braid it! If I leave it UN braided the wind tries its best to do a braiding job of its own, then it takes me HOURS to unbraid it...LOL! AND he still itches it out at the roots! Lose lose when in windy Wyoming! But he looks So much better with a mane--roaching it would be a travesty!

wind isnt a huge problem here, I mean, its windy, but my mares mane doesn't get tangled from it.
